The PENTA 4X Cube’s high-quality scanning technology delivers outstanding image quality (up to 900 dpi associated with Move Detection — only non-blurred scans are processed) and supports efficient workflows. The scanner includes Optical Character Recognition (OCR) as a standard feature, accurately reading data from both the Machine-Readable Zone (MRZ) and the Visual Inspection Zone (VIZ), with automatic scan trigger based on document detection.
Optional modules and accessories allow the scanner to be customized to meet your specific operational requirements.
The scanner comes standard with visible, infrared light (IR) and UV-A light sources. An optional coaxial light source provides reliable document authentication by revealing hidden security features.
Reads 1D and 2D barcodes for faster and efficient reading of 1D/2D barcodes from both paper documents and digital displays, including smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, boarding passes and tickets. (OPTIONAL)
