Einar is a compact plug-and-play LPR camera specially designed for parking, access control, and slow-traffic applications. Powered by Carmen® ANPR engine, it recognizes license plate text, state, country, vehicle make, model, color, and direction across the US, Canada, and Mexico. It’s very easy to install as all it needs is a PoE+ power supply and an ethernet cable to power on. Additionally, it has a very user-friendly GUI, and minor configurations are needed.

Designed for low-speed and city-speed environments, Einar detects vehicles travelling up to 80 km/h / 50mph and supports dual-lane monitoring with direction detection. These capabilities help improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and minimize delays at parking entrances and exits.

Equipped with an advanced 8 MP camera, wide and telephoto lenses, high-intensity IR and white LED illumination, and motorized zoom, Einar delivers reliable plate capture across a wide range of lighting conditions. It works in triggerless mode right out of the box and can also support hardware or software-based triggers when specific site requirements demand additional control.

A white LED version is available for environments where nighttime vehicle color, or license plate visibility is required, including applications in Arabic regions and the United States.
